In August of 1985 Midland Filtration Limited was launched by Richard Johnson who remains our Managing Director to this day. Richard already had over 10 years experience in the filter and distribution trade when he founded the company, and foresaw the need for a filter distribution company to serve the Midlands area. Although such specialisation was a complete novelty in those days, time has proved that it was the correct decision, and today Midland Filtration has grown in turnover and reputation to become the premier air filter distributorship in the UK.
Now, with customers ranging from Single Traders to Blue Chip PLC’s, and a thriving depot in Scotland, the original ideology of Midland Filtration remains unchanged. Whatever we do, we are a service company first and last, always putting the needs of our customers before all else. Whether we are gaining ISO recognition at the first attempt, underwriting intricate filter specifications, carrying out duct cleaning or filter distribution we will always try to do everything the same way:

FILTERS AND BELTS
Experience has shown us that customers value a single delivery and carriage charge rather than two separate ones for the site to lose, and accounts to pay for! Eliminating an extra delivery also helps to reduce your carbon footprint – an increasingly important consideration in these more environmentally aware times.
VAST STOCKS HELD
We keep stock of standard items at all times to ensure prompt dispatch for our customers. For regularly used non-standards we are happy to hold stock against your call-off.
NON-STANDARD PANEL PRODUCTION
We manufacture non-standard pleated and glass panels and media pads in-house, which ensures a much speedier turnaround than most filter manufacturers can offer.
We have for many years operated a database on behalf of various clients with full filter and belt details for each site. Your engineers can then ring and ask for a price or call off the requirements for a site without having to obtain full listings for us each time – always a popular facility with hard-pressed engineers.
Our highly experienced technical team are there to provide advice and assistance when needed. We often meet with customers on site either to carry out a survey of requirements or to suggest upgrades or conversions. Our technical support and site visits are free of charge and carried out at your request. Where needed our trained engineers can also install the package for you – please ask for a quotation.
