And another long service milestone arrives at Midland Filtration – this time our Group Sales Director Kay Johnson has reached her 30 year anniversary.
She joined us on April 1st 1991 (that must say something!) working just a few hours a week trying to get a sales admin system started as it was pretty much non-existent before her arrival! Over time both her workload and hours steadily increased until she became full-time, working her way up from Sales Administrator to Sales Office Manager, Admin and Marketing Director and now Sales Director.
Kay has always loved dealing with our fabulous customers, and relishes the odd occasion when she can escape from the office to go and see them in person. Over the years she has been (and still is) the Account Manager for many of our larger accounts with multi-site ppm deliveries, and for her sins is also responsible for all the tenders we take part in. She is also heavily involved in the design and marketing side of the business, and one of her favourite tasks ever was the Team Page project on the website – a bit of madness in amongst all the hard work for everyone!
Kay says she is very proud to be a part of such a unique and respected Company – and is looking forward to seeing it develop more over the next few years. She is seen here accepting a thankyou from MD Richard Johnson – and don’t worry about the lack of face masks – he’s her other half!
