In an action-packed final game against HC Torpedo from Kazakhstan the massive crowd at the Nottingham Ice Arena got their just rewards for the outstanding support throughout the tournament as the Panthers defeated the opposition 4-2 to bring the Continental Cup back to Nottingham for the second time in 8 years. It was a night to remember as we are the first UK team to win the tournament twice, and to host it on home ice with Midland Filtration as the headline sponsor made it all the more special. The celebrations continued long into the night, and we are over the moon to have been so closely involved with what was considered by the IIHF representatives, visiting teams and fans, and fans from other UK teams who had come along to support it to be a resounding success. We shall remember this one for a very long time – massive congratulations to the Panthers organisation!
