It was yet another milestone birthday today (this year is full of them at Midland!) as MD Richard Johnson presented our Despatch Manager Chris Riley with a little something to help celebrate his 40th.
Chris has worked his way up through the years, from warehouse operative and driver (we won’t mention the first trip in the van Chris…!) to his busy position today running our non-stop Despatch department, liaising between Production, suppliers, couriers and our own team of drivers.
In amongst all this Chris has also completed in-depth training to be able to assist with the running of our computer systems, so there is certainly never a dull moment for him in his working day!
Enjoy your special day Chris, and make sure you make up for the cancelled break after the current lockdown has passed!
