For several years now Midland Filtration have been proudly sponsoring the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team, based at the National Ice Arena. Once a year we are match sponsors, and the 26th was our night this season.
After a slow start the Panthers totally dominated the visitng Coventry Blaze, winning 8-3, so a great time was had by all!
We then had to decide who should receive the Man of the Match award, and this was made easy for us by start forward David Clarke who managed to score a hat-trick (thank you David!). Richard Johnson and Kay Barber presented David with his award – as you can see it was smiles all round!
The Panthers are riding high now in the Elite League, and all the team at Midland would like to wish them every success for the rest of the season – let this be the one boys!
